90's

Just recently attended a 90's themed party and I believe the trend is getting popular because when I googled what to wear, hair and makeup. As I was browsing through the images on google I realized how uninspired I was to want to join and dress up with my friends. I really didn't enjoy the fashion of the 90s when I was growing up because everything was oversized and not figure flattering. In addition, I really disliked the sideways pony tail because my hair has always weighed so much and styling my hair that way always gave me a headache and showed off all my fly-aways.

The only things I liked about the 90's was the music and the invention of various snacks and candies. I wish I brought the ring pops, push pops, pop rocks, gushers, fruit by the foot and a couple of popular 90's game boards to the party. The extra sugar and games would have put in more life into the party, besides drinking or playing in the pool because I couldn't do either, since I was not prepared.

Leaving the party, I felt like I was so old because I realized that the 90's was over 10 years ago already and when I speak to younger people and ask them if they have watched Save by the Bell or Married with Children I receive blank faces, thus confirming I'm getting old. Time really passes in an instant and makes me want to experience everything for full value.

After having such a hard week having the chance to reminisce about childhood TV shows and music was fun and brought back good memories of the past.
