Happiness
What is real pure happiness?
Happiness by definition is the quality or state of being happy, good fortune, pleasure, contentment and joy (definition provided by www.dictionary.com).
What I mean when I talk about happiness, I think about those times playing on the swings as a child with your sibling, playing fetch with your pet dogs, laughing so much your tummy hurts happiness. What would someone give just to experience pure happiness, which is free from corruption from big business. Maybe as people age and enter the world of adulthood people must leave their pure simple ideas of happiness because of all the sad realistic obligations of life. The question is why can we not have both? Just an individual struggle? I think not.
Perhaps one day happiness will not become dependent on money, but that would mean that people would just leave their materialistic pursuits. Eventually, people will wake up one morning and realize their life is so empty because what they thought made them happy will actually validate their lives were filled with nothing but debt, jealousy and the pursuit of materialistic objects that will break and lose value over time. However, real true and pure happiness cannot be bought because it is absolutely priceless and only costs a person's pride, inhibitions, mind and body. Happiness is not something that one can think about and command it or to learn it, instead happiness is an experience that occurs subconsciously and instantly when people smile, care and love. When people sit back and take the time to reflect and label their memories do they classify the components of happiness. In reality happiness is the a bright light that shines from your heart and tickles your senses and explodes into laughter and smiles.
I think one of the most contemporary universal life goal is to be happy. People will only be happy when people free themselves from societies expectations and really chose to do the things they love and to stop doing what is expected. Just stop arguing and start laughing or do something silly in public and making life not so serious because so many sad serious things occur every day. Life will just ever more satisfying when people start choosing to smile more instead of scowling.
