Fun time

Cute little surprise in a long time. Gerard took me to Palmdale to go hiking and to get away from everything. The view was amazing and it was absolutely silent. One could truly hear a pin drop and one could also hear the bird singing echo into the distance. Gerard also surprised me with a pack cooler of food and vitamin water. We ate near what it might have been horse stalls back in the day. The sandwiches were from Submarina (always delish) drank some vitamin water and some unsalted omega 3 tortilla chips, which I think right now is my favorite snack at the moment. Afterwards, we walked around and admired the sereneness of the atmosphere. I think walking around the pond was my favorite part of the date because there was this pure ever so white duck, which totally looked like the Aflec commerical duck. In addition we saw a traditional three colored duck, 3 medium sized turtles and some coy fish. The overall trip was awesome because it was a real treat to be able to be one with nature and simplicity without distractions from commericals and the media.
