What really defines time? Is it just the western industrial civilization? Or is it nature? I think time is highly subjective to one's point of view because various places have different time zones and have various traditions and rituals at specific times, just relative to location and culture. I think time is really defined by the individual, meaning that people use time to define their days, to set schedules, plan for the future and to prioritize what is important to their lives.
Take for example when relationships fall to pieces its because one or both partners lack in time management to keep the other interested or entertained, but in reality it actually means that person is not important or at the top of the priority list. People are never the same person from first time you meet them because time passed and they have either become more bitter or more loving, depending on situations. So, when someone says, "its just bad timing" it sometimes might just mean, "your not that important to me, that I have to change or sacrifice my time (life) for you" because in reality time is just an excuse. When people find out their time's up or their lives are about to end they start to realize "wow, I should have taken the chance when I had the time" but in reality they had time, it was just not a priority then.
