6 year anniversary

The 6th year anniversary was memorable because we went to dinner at Orange Hill Restaurant and enjoyed the view, but not so much the food. For starters we had the cured meat plate, which was such a large portion. Followed by an heirloom tomato and cheese salad. I thought this salad split between 2 people was very small and over priced for $14. Then came the main coarse, my sea bass with a chili and lime sauce. I had high hopes for this main dish, but was heavily disappointed with the sauce. The actual sauce was the lumpia sauce that I purchase from the Asian market. The sauce really hurt the dish because coming from a high class restaurant I had high expectations for a homemade sauce and not a sauce from a bottle. Ugh, even the rice was mushy and I am harsh about my rice because I cook jasmine rice all the time. To top the evening off our server Roberto was antisocial with us and only came to refill drinks and take away plates. In the past, from high class restaurants that Gerard and I have been too our servers were great with conversation and guiding us through the menus. Overall, I would rate the restaurant a 2 star out of 5.
