Telemarketing

I just got off the phone with another telemarketer (sigh). I understand how some people have to make some money, but it is such an annoying job. Just to call random people from a master list and inquire about whether "so and so" is home or when is it a good time to call back. It is absolutely tedious to have the same company call the house so frequently and give them the same answer. Last time I yelled at the person who called, other times I just insist they give me their information and I would have "so and so" call them back, but then they never provide their information. The whole telemarketing is so annoying that people in my house do not even bother to answer the house phone because they just do not want to have to hear about the advertisement that the telemarketer is trying to sell. It is even more annoying when the telemarketer calls at 9pm on a week night or in the morning on Saturday, it is as if the telemarketer has no common decency to take into consideration of family and sleep time for others. Seriously, I need to come up with another way to annoy and badger those telemarketers when they call the house next time so they do not call the house anymore.
